Owner Joe Cantu is a second-generation HVAC technician with more than four decades of hands-on experience in the heating, cooling, and electrical trades.
Joe started his apprenticeship in the 1980s through a union contractor in California. He didn’t learn HVAC from a textbook or a weekend course. He learned it from his father — who was also an HVAC technician — working side by side on real jobs, solving real problems, and building real skills the way the trades have always been taught: one day at a time, one system at a time.
His father-in-law was an electrician, so skilled trade work runs deep in the family. That combination of HVAC and electrical knowledge is rare, and it gives Joe a broader understanding of how home comfort systems work together — from the thermostat wiring to the compressor motor, from the ductwork layout to the electrical panel.
